It is not required that Mount Nittany Health volunteers be vaccinated, but it is strongly encouraged. 

Any volunteer who has not provided proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be required to wear a procedural mask and eye protection while on-site in any Mount Nittany Health building.  

In order to be considered fully vaccinated, all volunteers must have the first and second dose of a COVID-19 vaccination series (either Pfizer or Moderna) or a single dose vaccine of Johnson and Johnson.

Mount Nittany Health prioritizes the safety of its patients and volunteers. Therefore, volunteers are subject to all Mount Nittany Health policies, just like employees. In addition, they must adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policies specific to their work area. As well as masks, volunteers are required to wear eye protection and potentially gloves depending on their duties.
